How it’s calculated
Addresses are classified according to the timestamp of their most recent successful transaction. For addresses last active between six and twelve months ago, their current ICP balances are summed to calculate total supply held. Each address is counted once, regardless of transaction frequency or volume.
What this metric highlights
This metric shows the amount of ICP held in addresses that have been recently, but not currently, active:
- Increasing supply: Indicates that more ICP resides in addresses that were active in the past six to twelve months but have not transacted recently.
- Stable supply: Suggests a consistent portion of ICP remains in medium-term inactive addresses.

Limitations
